Adirondack Fish Tales Etc. - Waterfront Southern Lake Champlain Camping & Fishing destination.
Lake Champlain which lies between New York and Vermont with a small portion extending into Quebec, Canada. Nearby is Lake George, another great place to visit on your fishing vacation.
Lake Champlain historically supported an abundance of lake trout which were extirpated by the late 1800's. Lake trout are again present due to management by the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (DEC), Vermont, and the US Fish and Wildlife Service. Stocking and control of sea lamprey are the primary management activities to reestablish lake trout.

The southern end of Lake George is alive with events, cruise ships, arcades, mini-golf, wax museums, hiking and biking, shopping, night life & the famous Fort Wm. Henry Historic Museum. There are many wonderful accommodations, from cottages and cabins to motels, hotels and resorts and bed and breakfast inns.

The northern end of Lake George is a quiet respite in the heart of the Adirondacks. It is home to what we believe is the most beautiful, breathtaking lake in America.
  • Washington County Public Beach at Hulletts Landing on the eastern shore of the Lake George northern basin. (From RT-22 west on CR-6 approx 4.3 miles).
  • South Bay, Free Boat Launch and new handicap accessable fishing pier are located about 6 miles south of our location on NY state Route 22
